Canon 430EX Speedlite Flash for Canon

For people interested in photography, consumer electronics, camera, flash

DSPhoto`s rating:
Want a flash to go in to the unused hotshoe of your newly purchased canon SLR? This is a good place to start. I usually suggest a flash with bounce and swivel abilities to you can bounce the flash off the ceiling at parties/indoors. This is a good option if you dont want to pay $350+ for its big brother, the 580ex 2

Canon's new flagship on-camera flash. It replaces the first generation 580ex. The new model is weatherproof with great new rubber seals, and a much more durable hotshoe connection design. It also is supposed to be more efficient with battery use and offers quicker recharge times. It is great, but after speaking to one of Canon's manufacturer reps, it is not worth upgrading from the 580 ex1 to the ex2
