Ever since I can remember I have always been fascinated with makeup. I don't know exactly whether or not it was the packaging or just the products themselves that drew me in, but whatever it was, makeup became the ultimate eye candy for me. Through my love of cosmetics and anything related to beauty, I decided to create a beauty website forum called, The Makeup Divas. I have recently ventured out into the blogging world and created The Makeup Divas Beauty Blog.

Personally, I was afraid to work with these, since they were, after all, messy clusters - but the first time I applied the pigment clusters, I fell in love! The color alone perfected the look, and I vowed to use it again. They can be messy to use at first, but with carefulness and precision you can avoid askew clusters or untidy spillage.

I tried this in the Plum shade and wasn't sure if the plum color would be noticeable on my lashes. But to my surprise it not only showed up but my thin lashes plumped up with the first coat! This mascara takes my lashes to a whole new level that I have not experienced before. So if it's head-turning lashes you are craving for, then Lash Envy is for you.

For people interested in makeup, prescriptives, mineral makeup, foundation

I am really malcontent when it comes to certain mineral foundations but after using the New All Skins Mineral Makeup SPF 15 for over a week now, I can't find anything negative to say about it. I love it and I love how my skin looks after applying it. It's so lightweight and I love how the subtle shimmer gives you a natural glow. It's not that high sheen glow you get with other mineral foundations. But a healthy glow.

Prescriptives Eye Pencil in Plum Sparks

For people interested in makeup, prescriptives, eye pencil, eye liner

When I first saw this pencil at Prescriptives I new I had to try this one. I love this warm shade of plum and how it always makes the green in my eyes pop! But what I love most about this pencil is the glimmer and glitter of gold sparkles that flicker like diamonds. It's the perfect combination of color and sparkle finish.
The soft tip of the pencil doesn't pull on the skin but rather glides on smoothly and smudges with ease.

M·A·C Cosmetics | Fafi: Lipstick

For people interested in makeup, mac cosmetics, fafi, lipstick

Fun'n'Sexy is the perfect name for this lippie. Just let me warn you though, at first glance, this bright fuchsia color, might scare you off. Sort of reminds me of the 80's. But I can assure you, what you see is not what you get. Mac describes this shade as a blue pink with blue pearl(glaze). You can actually see these tiny blue glitter sparkles throughout. I was somewhat apprehensive to put this bright neon pink on my lips but I gave it a go anyhow. To my surprise, the color showed up rather light. Not bright like I thought it would be. It's not a lipstick shade I am accustomed to wearing so I think I will pass this over to my teenaged daughter to wear.

Mellies Makeup

For people interested in makeup, eye shadow, mellies makeup

Mellies makep is a new makeup and skincare line that offers a wide variety of textures and colors for all makeup junkies and divas alike. I sampled 2 of their eye shadows and I must say they have amazing staying power, highly pigmented and very blendable. They are comparable to Mac's eye shadows at a fraction of the cost. Check out Mellies for a wide variety of shades as well as other makeup products.
